Ambulance Victoria Casterton
Ambulance Victoria provides a 24 hours service to the district with 2 fully qualified Paramedic’s stationed at Casterton and access to fixed-wing Air Ambulance and Emergency Helicopter service. DIAL 000 IN AN EMGENCY
Casterton Airfield is located 4 kms south west of the Casterton township on on Springbank Rd.
The airfield consists of two strips. The main strip is the North South Strip which is an all weather strip 1300m x 45m. This strip is suitable for twins, ambulance and fast aircraft.
The second strip is the East-West strip which is a 550 m grass strip.
Before using the airstrip Casterton Customer Service Centre should be contacted on (03) 5554 2444 during business hours or after hours Brain Wombwell on 0408 542 756, to check for any maintenance issues or updates.
